Talisker 18

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 45.8%

Score: 90 Points

Talisker 18 Highland Single Malt. Image courtesy Diageo. This Talisker has a nose with subtle smokiness, briny wet sand, honey, toasted oak, and butterscotch notes. The taste reminds me initially of black tea with honey, followed by notes of cinnamon, orange peel, butterscotch, toasted oak, and a hint of clove. The finish is long and smooth with sweetness balanced by a kiss of smoke. (March, 2015)
