The nose is strong with notes of caramel, cocoa, oak, vanilla, allspice, and a touch of roasted almonds. The taste is spicy and intense with black pepper, chili powder, and allspice notes that seem to last forever, but eventually fade to reveal vanilla, honey, and caramel notes. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of vanilla, cocoa, and oak. Excellent! (July, 2015)
