Shelter Point Inaugural 2016 Run

Country: Canada

Region:

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 88 Points

This debut single malt from Shelter Point Distillery on Vancouver Island has a malty and fruity nose with touches of nectarines, lemon zest, coconut, and vanilla. The taste is tart and spicy with lemon pepper, cardamom, curry powder, and hints of vanilla, honey, and malt in the background. The spicy notes fade away quickly on the finish, leaving subtle fruity touches of nectarines, lemon zest, and papaya. Very nice! (June, 2016)
