ABV: 40%

Royal Brackla 21. Image courtesy John Dewar & Sons. As with the Royal Brackla 12 and 16-year-old malts, this one is finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is delicate, sweet, and fruity with apple, peach, raspberry, and anise notes. The taste has an explosion of fresh berries, anise, a hint of cinnamon spice, dark chocolate, brown sugar, and touches of figs and nougat. The finish is dry, aromatic, and slightly spicy with hints of dried fruits and berries. (October, 2015)
