ABV: 46%

Score: 90 Points

This is a lightly peated single malt from John Distilleries in Goa, India, and is matured in ex-Bourbon casks. The nose has a light smokiness, along with chocolate mint and touches of honey, vanilla, cocoa, and oak. The palate starts off with dried grass, followed by a good burst of peatiness and touches of dark chocolate, mint, brown sugar, honey, and vanilla. The finish has a good lingering smokiness with hints of honey, linseed oil, and chocolate mint. Very nice. (December, 2014)
