Hyde President's Choice Irish Whiskey. Photo ©2015 by Mark Gillespie. This is a 10-year-old Irish single malt originally distilled at Cooley, but matured at Hibernia Distillery’s warehouse in West Cork and finished in ex-Sherry casks.

The nose has a good maltiness with notes of green apple, peach pie, shortbread cookies, lemon custard, caramel candy, and hints of banana and coconut. The taste is fruity and complex with notes of peach pie, apricots, honey, lemon zest, a touch of malt, and hints of oak and ginger. The finish is long with ginger, vanilla, honey, and a nice maltiness. (September, 2015)
