Glenturret Fly's 16 Masters Edition. Image courtesy Glenturret. This 16-year-old Glenturret gets its name from a 1905 photograph of the distillery team and the manager’s collie Fly. The nose is light and floral with notes of rose petals, honeycomb, buttered popcorn, a hint of citrus, and an underlying touch of toffee. The taste has notes of ripe tree fruits balanced by spicy hints of clove, cardamom, and cinnamon along with cocoa beans, honeycomb, and dried flowers. The finish is fruity and vibrant with peaches, honey, and a hint of cocoa beans. (May, 2016)
