Glen Grant Five Decades Single Malt. Image courtesy Campari/Glen Grant. This single malt honors Glen Grant distillery manager Dennis Malcolm’s five decades at the distillery, starting when he was a young boy and his father was the manager. Dennis selected casks from each of his five decades to make up this limited-edition expression.

The nose is ripe and fruity with notes of apricots, peaches, sultanas, cocoa, and a hint of toffee. The taste starts off fruity with sultanas and grapefruit notes, then the spices kick in with a good cinnamon burst and a hint of ginger. The fruity notes return as the spices fade, leading to a long finish with sultanas, grapefruit, and a touch of toffee. (September, 2013)
