Duncan Taylor Dimensions Glenlossie 19. Image courtesy Duncan Taylor & Co. This Speyside single cask was filled in 1992 and bottled in 2012, just short of 20 years old. The nose is fruity and floral with notes of lemon zest, grapefruit, vanilla, butterscotch, and an unusually high amount of maltiness for a 19-year-old whisky. The taste starts off dry and astringent, then turns tart with lemon zest, grapefruit, allspice, and a touch of white pepper. The finish is long and tart with a lemon pepper touch that lingers for a while. Excellent! (January, 2016)
