The nose is subtly spiced with allspice, white pepper, ginger, and touches of vanilla, honey, and dark chocolate. The taste is much more strongly assertive with black pepper, white pepper, cilantro, and curry powder notes with just a hint of clove. Honey, vanilla, and dark chocolate notes come out as the spices slowly fade away, along with a touch of tropical fruits. The finish is shorter than I would have expected, but a touch of clove lingers on the tip of the tongue. (November, 2013)
