Buchanan's Master Blended Scotch Whisky. Image courtesy Diageo. This version of Buchanan’s has a sweet and fruity nose with apples, pears, peaches, a hint of nuts, allspice, and honey in good balance. The taste is thick, oily, and spicy with clove, allspice, a hint of cinnamon, honey, apples, and a touch of marzipan…once again, in good balance and showing a nice complexity. The finish is long and smooth with subtle spices that fade gently. (May, 2014)
