Blackadder Raw Cask Macallan 1990. Image courtesy Blackadder. This single cask bottling from Blackadder was matured for 21 years before it was bottled in 1991, and the nose is aromatic and fruity with apricots, freshly-baked berry cobbler, nutmeg, ginger, and hints of honey and brown sugar. The taste is thick, spicy, and fruity with fresh cobbler, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, a touch of cinnamon, honey, and vanilla notes. The finish is dry with a slight oakiness and a lingering syrupy cobbler note with subtle spices. Excellent! (June, 2014)
