Aultmore 25 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Image courtesy Dewar's/Bacardi.A new entry in the Last Great Malts range of single malt whiskies from the Dewar’s-owned distilleries in Scotland, with a rich, yet buttery-smooth nose full of toffee, hot fudge, toasted marshmallow, and maple syrup. The maple syrup note continues on the palate, along with cinnamon, plums, berry cobbler, and a hint of fudge. The finish lingers very well with a touch of oak, plums, fudge, and a hint of berry cobbler. Very nice. (November, 2014)
