Aberlour 12 Double Cask Matured. Image courtesy Chivas Brothers. The nose is full of figs and honey, dried apricots, orange peel, vanilla, and hints of almond and banana. The taste has cinnamon, honey, baked apples and peaches, black cherries, and hints of banana and orange peel. The finish is lingering and fruity with a soft touch of cinnamon and chocolate. Very nice. (December, 2013)
