Just got off the phone with Jim McEwan of Bruichladdich...he's celebrating his 50th anniversary in the whisky business this weekend during Bruichladdich's open day on Sunday during the Feis Ile! Turns out he'll be around a while longer...Remy Cointreau asked him to stay around for three more years to help train up his eventual successors, and he's agreed (it's not as though he has a long commute, since he and his wife live next to the distillery)!

I'll have our entire interview on this weekend's episode, including his take on the Remy acquisition, Murray McDavid, and a few of the listener questions that some of you sent along two years ago when I was going over for the 10th anniversary party. We never got the chance to sit down and get them answered then, but I held on to them until now...
